Flying through the sky, suspended from a cable attached to a helicopter. This is how SEAT released its brand new creation to the world. Welcome, the SEAT Arona. Of course, the feat took place at the home of SEAT, Barcelona. Dangling over the city’s beachfront, the Catalan public were treated to a surprise aerial exhibition and got a sneak preview of the car's silhouette, which was then unveiled on 30th June.
From Barcelona to the world
SEAT’s new crossover car was created in Barcelona. The design, development and manufacturing took place in SEAT’s Martorell facilities. SEAT wanted the residents of the city to be the first to get a symbolic token sneak peek at its latest creation before taking it to the 80 countries where SEAT exports 81% of its output.
The new SEAT Arona was designed with the phrase ‘always ready for adventure’ at the forefront of everyone's minds. SEAT’s incredible design team have raised the bar yet again with the Arona. The car is equipped with all of the all the driving assistance and infotainment systems that have become synonymous with the rest of the SEAT range. features such as;
The Arona also offers an optional Rear traffic alert, Blind Spot Detection and Park Assistance System, which works for both parallel and angled parking.
Ready for its debut
The SEAT Arona will make its first international presentation in September at the infamous Frankfurt Motor Show. The Arona will be reaching dealerships across the globe at the end of this year.
